Scott County provides an interactive property information as a public service. Find you property and select if from the map to access additional information. 

Access a quick table for probable  setback, lot size, lot width, building height, surface coverage, and other standards for all zoning classifications. Contact the City to verify standards. 

A drainage & utility easement allows a city, utility company, or another individual limited use of the property for the purpose of providing drainage and/or utilities  

Do you want to know what the City is planning for the future?  Destination 2040, the City's comprehensive plan accommodates a vision for overall development and redevelopment in the City. The plan guides future land uses of all properties and plans for park, transportation, housing, facility, and utility systems.  The plan allows the City to plan for large financial investments in systems to avoid sudden financial shocks.  Comprehensive planning is required under the Metropolitan Land Planning Act and the plan is updated every ten years to be consistent with Twin Cities regional policy.
